Challenge Points

Challenge points are received for participating in challenges (detailed below). Challenge points are like raffle tickets! Each challenge point represents a chance to win. Having the most challenge points does not make you a winner—an organization with just one challenge point can win. We'll select the winner on May 31, 2026.

The Prize

Together, Funraise and Daxko will donate $25,000 to one YMCA to support their 2026 annual campaign. That's the type of funding that can make 2026 a year of balance, not burnout.

Each challenge is designed to build your knowledge and strategy, empowering the entire YMCA community to fundraise effectively toward 2026 goals. Missed a challenge? That’s okay. Once challenges close, they’ll live here as resources your team can revisit anytime.

The winning YMCA will be randomly selected on June 26, 2026, with each challenge point being a separate entry.

This really is a team effort; anyone at your YMCA can participate, although each association can only receive points once per challenge. We’re making sure that smaller associations and large associations have the same chances to win.

Who’s running this?

Funraise is hosting the challenge in partnership with Daxko. We built this together to support the way YMCAs grow community—through consistency, connection, and collaboration.

Funraise and Daxko provide fundraising and member management tools for YMCAs.

How does it work?

New challenges will be released about once a month. Participating in a challenge will earn your association challenge points. Challenge points are like raffle tickets; each challenge point represents one chance to win.

Having the most challenge points does not make you a winner—a Y with just one challenge point can win it all!

Challenge point totals are updated weekly. We’ll select the winner on June 26th, 2026.

This campaign is association-based; your association (not an individual branch) will receive the prize if selected. If selected as the winner, your association will also receive a list of every team member at each branch that contributed challenge points, so everyone’s efforts will be known!

While many team members can participate, an association can only receive challenge points once per challenge. We're working hard to make sure that smaller associations have just as much chance to win as larger associations.

Is this just for Ys?

Yes. This giveaway is open to U.S.-based YMCAs only.

How do you know what Y I’m with?

When you register and participate in challenges, we’all always ask for your email address. Your email address will identify your location, so entries and progress are tracked correctly—no matter which superstar on your team completes a challenge.

It’s important to always use your association email address. Any non-YMCA email addresses will not count.
